Hi. I’m Tom Ensslin, owner of Classic Sheds. When I first opened my business in 1990, I was operating as a distributor, like most of my competitors still do today (i.e. buying my sheds from a wholesaler). I had no control over the quality or specifications of the buildings, nor did I have the control to match my customers’ homes. This was frustrating to me, so in 1992, I started constructing sheds to my own standards.

I am proud that Classic Sheds has grown each year and evolved into a family-run business. My brother, John; 
brother-in-law, Dan; and I are dedicated to offering you the quality and selection you demand at exceptional prices.
We invite you to visit us at our 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Colonie to see our sheds as they are being built and our large stock of displays of all our products, including gazebos, heavy duty lawn furniture and Creative Playthings play sets.
